This little table was from Target like 8 years ago. When they used to have their market fair items. I sanded the top and distressed it for character with a hammer, chisel, sand paper and such.
I sprayed the bottom with white spray paint. They turned it a weird blue grey color. So I (ASCP) chalk painted it with Old White and did my normal French Linen and Arles spot painting.
I then distressed it and sanded it and then I rubbed the top with restore a finish in walnut. I then used the same rag and rubbed the restore a finish soaked rag over the white areas. It is my favorite little piece right now.
